Kid’s Calendar 2024: Collecting The Art Words in April. Bangkok Art and Culture Centre invites children and teenagers aged 10-18 to a fun-filled afternoon on Thursday, April 11th, with the activity "Moving Image Storytelling" in collaboration with experienced directors and the artist from Bangkok 242 exhibition, Mr. Nitivat Cholvanichsiri, to design and impart knowledge of storytelling through moving images to participants.

This activity aims to utilize art and the space of Bangkok Art and Culture Centre as a 'medium' to cultivate sustainable consciousness by raising awareness of the value of 'time' and ‘the beauty of moments,' which are important foundations underlying sustainable consciousness that will lead to awareness of preserving resources in the future. Children and teenagers will learn the basics of short film production using smartphones through direct experiences with professional film directors, using storytelling techniques through various film language such as narrative thinking, camera angles, and focusing on different emotional aspects of each image. These activities not only help enhance creative thinking skills and imagination but also enable learning of a wide range of diverse art forms alongside mindfulness training, which is a crucial skill underlying all learning processes.
