The seminar aims to focus on how to counteract discrimination and prevent harassment in the workplace and to introduce LGBTQI+ supportive workplace policies by drawing experiences from Sweden. It is based on the firm belief that everyone’s enjoyment of human rights, regardless of gender identity or sexual orientation is a key feature of democratic societies and every organization, both public and private, has a clear role in this.
The seminar will be inaugurated by Bangkok Governor and Ambassador of Thailand. Presenters include Ms. Ulla Perman from Equality Ombudsman, Mr. Karl Yves Vallin from Swedish Federation for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer and Intersex Rights (RFSL), Mr. Christian Dassonville from IKEA Thailand and James (Rusameekae) Fagerlund.
The seminar is open to the public and we welcome your participation and active engagement. It will be conducted in both English and Thai with simultaneous interpreter. The seminar will follow by an animated short film from Sweden "Next Door Letters".
