Highlight components of the Bangkok International Design Festival 2010 and provide recommendations as follows: The main exhibition called ‘Love & Friendship’ features collaborations of multi-disciplinary designers, both Thai and international. This show includes ‘CE’, the platform toy that has designers from around the world joining in the competition for surface design. We have 50 designs from overseas and 50 from local designers, making 100 models of 10-inch high designed by 5 Thai and 5 international designers, scattered around the festival. Other collaborations include Building Clouds - a combination of Thai textile and cement panels, ZIIB - an interactive communication board made of milk containers with robotic mechanic system, and 3-D graphic installation by a world-class typographer and illustrator.
