Bangkok Vinyl Collectors & Analog Lovers Rejoice as Record Store Day BKK 2023 Returns!

Vinyl is in the air as Bangkok’s vinyl community celebrates Record Store Day ‘23, April 29-30 at Bangkok Art & Culture Centre. Join us for 2 full days of celebration with 20 curated record stores, 5 artists, and 10 DJs who are joining forces to keep vinyls alive. 
 
Record Store Day is celebrated annually on the last weekend of April as an attempt to spotlight small record stores and continue the legacy of vinyl records. For this year, Gadhouse is joining forces with Bae Vibes and Vespa to host RSD BKK as a gesture to continue the analog spirit in Thailand by adding new and exciting activities. The organizers hope that doing so will help strengthen the Thai vinyl community and carry on the tradition to a larger scale. Teaming up with BACC, the venue is transformed into a hub for every vinyl lover, including a vinyl library and even an art workshop! Live music and DJ performances are guaranteed for the full-on musical experience. Plus get to know your music even better with live talk sessions from top players of Bangkok’s DJ industry.
 
This year’s star of the show, Vinyl Library, lets you get lost in a collection of more than 500 vintage vinyl records, courtesy of the Public Relations Department of Thailand. Visitors are invited to dig and listen to rare vinyls from Thailand’s radio history. As for this year’s RSD BKK exclusive, up-and-coming indie darling H3F is releasing a limited run of 300 records, available only at the event! Visitors are also welcome to take a break from vinyl digging and enjoy live performances from this star-studded lineup: Rattana, Autta, H3F and DJs; Maft Sai, Sonny, Plenoi & Tum Monotone and many more.
