On the occasion of 126 Years Professor SilpaBhirasri,Phra Phrombhichitr Architecture and Art Gallery (PPAAG), Faculty of Architecture, Silpakorn University,together with Bangkok Art & Culture Centre (BACC) cordially invite you to an architecture exhibition and lectures SathapatPariwat 2018 on the theme of “Material Matters”. The exhibition presents architects’ various viewpoints on ‘material’: from rethinking traditional materials for more modern needs, adapting standardised materials for bespoke purposes, or adopting new technologies to push the boundaries of construction materials. ‘Material’ could also be interpreted by architects as the main starting point or consideration from which the design evolves. 

SathapatPariwat 2018: Material Mattersis on view 11-23 September 2018 at BACC Floor 5. The opening ceremony will be held on 15 September 2018, SilpaBhirasri Day, to commemorate Professor SilpaBhirasri’s legacy in laying the strong foundation that blossoms into the modern Thai art and architecture today.
