By Waret Khunachareonsap, Suchon Sujit, and Amnat Panputh
‘INVISIBLE’ is a collaborative exhibition by three artists; Waret Khunachareonsap, Suchon Sujit, and Amnat Panputh. The exhibition offers a perspective of transforming ideas into art forms, particularly in the medium of ‘Sculpture.’
All three artists are interested in indistinct, faint, or unclear issues that occur in society, often hidden or suppressed by something defined as power. Something that silently cultivates and manipulates the living, creating the illusion of normality. The exhibition ‘INVISIBLE’ is a common ground the artists share to present the invisible and the abstract through three-dimensional creative methods; simulation, semiotics, unraveling shapes and form, and mixed media sculptures, all of which retain each artist’s unique identity.
The exhibition ‘INVISIBLE’ is built upon the three creators’ interpretation of social issues, politics, and psychological matters, communicated in an artistic language of sculpture through the transformation of abstract to form. The exhibition is a platform for the artists to convey and express their ideas to the public. Apart from the aesthetic pleasure the exhibition can provide, the artists hope to create a space for conversation with the viewers.
