Chuang Moolpinit graduated in Diploma degree at the Faculty of Painting and Sculpture from Silpakorn University. In the initial period, Chuang Moolpinit’s works consists of drawings that incorporate the intricacy of Thai’s patterns and style. Later, he developed techniques for watercolor and oil color. Most of Chuang’s works depicts the stories of flowers, insects, animals and humans in many perspectives, including eroticism and even the pities of life. It’s also the implication of his visions toward the natures of life which blends a beautiful and harmonious feeling to his style.
Aside from this, Chuang Moolpinit also designs and sculpts many artpieces related to religion such as the buddha statue Pang Leela “Auspicious Buddha Amulets” (phra-put-a-pai-mong-kol-sa-mang-khi), which His Holiness the Supreme Patriarch Somdet Phra Yansangworn organized in the agenda of His Majesty the king Bhumibol Adulyadej to be distributed to every provinces to commemorate 200th Anniversary of Rattanakosin. Another well-known work is the design of book's title and Thai movie's poster which are mostly related to Thai’s literatures and folktales, such as Plae-gao, LeuadSuphan, Krai Thong, Khaki etc.
Chuang Moolpinit initially work at Industrial Product Design Center asa lacquerware designer, he was later invited to create line arts for the weekly journal Siam Samai by Mr. Sulak Siwarak. Later, creating decorating arts for many books and magazines such as Cho Fah, Chao Krung and etc. Until he was later recognized for his freehand unique style.
At the present, Chuang Moolpinit have the art gallery “Chuang Moolpinit” for showing own works and still creates valuable artwork continuously.
