“THAITAI: A Measure of Understanding” is a contemporary art exchange project independently initiated for the first time by Thai and Taiwanese artists, and jointly brought forth by OCAC (Taiwan) and duo artists jiandyin (Thailand). The two-stage spine of dialogue is the works of the two countries’ artists created locally and overseas. The first stage will begin in Bangkok Art and Culture Centre in late 2012. In all, 12 Taiwanese and 10 Thai artists will collaborate, exhibit, and extend the activities such as forum, performance, and workshop to the Art Centre of Silpakorn University, the Bangkok University Gallery (BUG) and OCAC Bangkok. The second stage will operate in Taiwan in 2013.
