“Where would you place them?” is a question posing through an art exhibition consisting of installations, live performance, photographs, video art, writing, music and poetry. The artists whose works will be on show have spent time with people in the local communities in question, getting to understand issues involved. The outcome of the project will be a body of works telling the stories of their troubled lives, in the process voicing concerns to the public. The artists have worked in areas that have been encroached upon by developmental projects resulting in people to migrate, or to live as strangers in their homelands. A tide of change cannot be countered, but should we not at least be aware of their problems? Where would we put them, so they can have a chance to live in peace as much as you and I?
