“How to Disappear Completely unfolds on a mysterious island, somewhere in the Filipino archipelago, someplace in time. In a small village - natural yet synthetic - local folklore, fluorescent ballasts, a school play, and jumbled history merge into a staccato electro soundtrack. There is a pubescent girl, her rapturous mom, and her drunkard cock-fighting dad - all living in a small, rickety house. Something must give. Something must go.” Lee Chatametikool
