Arts activities are the ways to foster aesthetic learning in children and help them develop physically, emotionally, socially and mentally. Arts activities are fun and creative. They can boost young children's confidence, ability to analyze and most importantly encourage them to learn and use their imagination. Bangkok Art and Culture Centre is aware of the importance of arts activities for kids and young children as a means to stimulate creative thinking. We divide our arts activities into two age groups; one for children aged 4 – 7 years old and one for children aged 9 – 12 years old. The aim is not for the kids to create beautiful art pieces but for them to have hands-on experience and learn to experiment. The freedom for self-expression is essential to instill creative attitudes in children. By encouraging them to think and act freely in a fun and safe environment, our arts activities act as an outlet for self-expression where they can develop their fine motor skills and enhance visual-spatial intelligence, which are important building blocks for children's development.
BACC Art Camp 2016 Exhibition showcases artworks by 36 young artists from BACC ART CAMP 2016 #1 during 8-10 April 2016 and BACC ART CAMP 2016 #2 during 3-4, 10-11 September 2016. The techniques used include hand painting, foot painting to animation.
