Film Archive (Public Organization) collaborated with Thai Film Foundation and Bangkok Art and Culture Centre organize the 17th Thai Short Film and Video Festival in order to explore the new horizon of entertainment media, throughout 10 days of the festival. Like the past editions, the festival will present the local and international competition programs as well as many special programs showing the interesting shorts selected around the world. For this year, the special programs also include S-Express (the selected short from Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Singapore and China), the Best Selected from Clermont Ferrand Short Film Festival, Queer Shorts and etc. Moreover during the festival there will be masterclass by Umesh Kulkarni, the acclaimed Indian filmmakers, whose works have been shown in the best film festivals around the world, of course, including us!
The festival will be taken place every day during 22 August – 1 September, 2013 (except Monday 26nd August) at the Auditorium, on 5th Floor and the room 401 at Bangkok Art and Culture Centre (Pathumwan Junction, the National Stadium BTS stop). The weekday starts at 5 p.m., while 11.00 a.m. in the weekend. The entry is free of charge. Please be kindly notified that not all Thai spoken films are with English subtitles.
