Open Space Bangkok Art And Culture Centre
The BACC Wall Painting for BEF 2018 project is a collaboration project between Bangkok Art and Culture Centre Foundation, Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB), Siam Piwat and the Siam Synergy. The project aims at promoting Bangkok as the Hub of digital contents and creativities as well as to celebrate the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration for being a co – host of Bangkok Entertainment Fest 2018 (BEF2018). The event will be held from April – June 2018.
The integral events taking place under the Bangkok Entertainment Fest 2018 include Bangkok Comic Conx Thailand Comic Con, Thailand Toy Expo, Asia Comic Con and Bangkok International Digital Conference (BIDC)

2.Thailand Toy Expo 2018 : The biggest Toy and Collectibles event from May 3 – 6, 2018 at Central World
3.Asia Comic Con 2018: The event to create Thailand as the “Hub of Pop Culture” from June 8 – 10 , 2018 at Royal Paragon Hall, Siam Paragon
4.Bangkok International Digital Content Festival 2018(BIDC) : Thailand’s largest annual digital content event from June 11 – 13, 2018 at Intercontinental Hotel
With the three main concepts : “Play”, “Create”, “Collaborate”, BEF 2018 illustrates the ecosystem of Thailand’s creative industry as Thai players are the top ranking in digital world ,as well as Thai creators and local creative houses nowadays, which are being internationally acknowledged and recognized. The collaboration of all parties shall eventually drive Thailand to become the “Hub of Digital Creativity”.
Concept : This art piece presents the idea of “Playful” through the image of Thai giant in contemporary style. The head of the giant opens up to show the Bangkok City as the universe of infinite creativity.
PanopKoonwat is a graphic designer and animator who was born in Bangkok, Thailand in 1984. He received his BID degree in Industrial Design with advertising major from Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok in 2008, and earns his MFA in Computer Art with a concentration in Motion Graphic and Animation from the School of Visual Arts in New York City in 2014. As an art director at the TBWA Thailand advertising agency from 2009-2011, Koonwat was responsible for the McDonald’s and Nissan accounts, among others. In 2011 he founded FUUM Studio in Bangkok, where he designed and directed motion graphic projects for Heineken and KTB bank.His engaging motion designs blend humorous storytelling, graphics, and illustrations with splashy garish colors to effortlessly communicate unforgettable messages.
