Relationship, friendship and networking is the essence of the parking project where it forms independent space for friends to meet, drink, eat, discuss, exchange to interchange ideas and inspiration. From 12 years of history, it starts from the parking garage of the artist Roslisham Ismail aka Ise, then becomes a mechanism for borderless space for art, music, design, photography and literature. For the Parking Project in Bangkok, Ise and his superfriends will collaborate to form events looking for interesting future outlooks.
Roslisham Ismail (b. 1972, Malaysia) also known as Ise. Ismail is a multidisciplinary artist whose works include installation, video art, and participatory projects. His practice was largely informed by expressions of popular culture and served to represent alternative histories of place and culture. Ismail graduated from Mara University of Technology (UiTM), Malaysia, 1997. Ismail participated in numerous gallery and museum exhibitions and art residencies both locally and internationally. He took part in the 9th Istanbul Biennial collaborating with Indonesia’s ruangrupa (2005), Jakarta Biennale (2009), Singapore Biennale (2011), Asia Triennial Manchester (2011), Asia Pacific Triennale APT (Brisbane, Australia, 2012). Most recently, he was featured in the Archipel Secret show (Palais de Tokyo, Paris, 2015). Ismail was also the founder of Parking Project, an artist’s space based in his apartment in Kuala Lumpur, and a co-founder of Malaysian art publication sentAp!
Mafia Table is a creator assembly that graduated from Department of fine art, King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL ). They have their own work but still meet each other and have a curiosity about cultural possibilities and spend the time for discussing on difference issues to understand contemporary society together. Even though they have a difference aptitude but they collaborate by using the same interests of culture as a tool to create their works.

NID NOI TAN : Revolution Announcement

Nid Noi Tan or Nation Din backward is a final result from 3-week residency in Bangkok that aims to experiment on regional symbiosis stemming from Indonesian and Thai artists. This work questions on the SEA archipelago territory before National Border has been established. By creating narrative of imaginary nation under the experimental process, the work proposes components that grows organically of the DNA of SEA roots.
Nuttapon Sawasdee (b.1989, Thailand) experienced the idea of intellectual superiority educational system offered. His interest and his study in the department of Government, the Faculty of Political Science, Ramkhamhaeng University had him involved with an opposed political group. After Thailand’s political turmoil in 2006 which became important turning point that had he focused on politics again. At the same time, he was familiar with Jit Phumisak’s idea of art and culture is an apparatus for social struggle in the book Art for Life’s Sake. This book had him answered what stuck in his mind that he would create art that changes the world - the world that is dominated by sacredness, superiority, and power.
Tanaphon Inthong (b.1991, Thailand) is an emerging artist from Bangkok, Thailand. His work includes painting, sculpture, video art, installation and public video. Inthong’s works explored the family stories and past in relation to politics and Thai history. On a recent residency program, he gained experience conducting research on Thai workers in Taiwan. This program expanded the scope of his artworks and provided him the opportunity to contribute to the wider art discourse through the ideas and artworks.
Yingyod Yenarkarn (b.1989, Thailand) graduated from Bangkok University, Bangkok, 2012. Yenarkarn has been interested in daily objects and tried to find the meaning of them in different contexts. He joined Brand New 2013 Art Project (Bangkok University Gallery, 2013), focusing on the places he passed by frequently when he was working at the office or some places with political traces. In 2015, after decommission, he did an artwork about his life as a soldier. He joined Taichung Asean Square Culture Exchange Project (Taichung, 2016) and worked with an artist Thanaphon Inthong. In this project, they researched about the lifestyle, the exchanging cultures, and how Thai labors live as if they were in Thailand but differently in the different context which is the topic they were interested in. Recently, he joins the exhibition in Landscape Hotel Asian Project (Tokyo, 2017). Yenarkarn is still interested in the issue of building a new history through the construction of Rajabhakti Park which he joined during the conscription.

The aim for the workshop is totrace the outlines of the two cities, Yangon and Phnom Penh imagining and projecting their future through the eyes of an artist and architect. In the workshop, maps will be keys to discuss overlapping views both geographically and artistically. There will be two parts of the workshop, the first part is a presentation opening to the public by Myanmar Artist, Ko Latt and Cambodian Architect, Pen Sereypagnato discuss themes in the city such as dominating culture, ethnic complexity, religion and linguistic heritages, and the second part is to map the cities through physical material such as writing, photos, prints, newspaper, or even national dresses forthe audience to compose the two cities based on their perceptions and experiences. As each city has been under ongoing urban development, it manifests both potential transition and vulnerability, the workshop addresses the point where the audience, the architect and the artists could exchange, make dialogue, compare, and learn from.

Pen Sereypagna (b.1989, Phnom Penh) is a freelance architect and urban researcher and acting director of Space for Architecture Cambodia, non-profit organization established in 2015 to widen knowledge and understanding of the country’s unique cultural heritage among architects, students and other enthusiasts’ passionate about architecture and urban heritage worldwide. In addition to this work, Pagna founded Lumhor, an online platform for architects, urbanists, researchers, and designers in 2010 to promote critical discourse, creative thinking and awareness about art, architecture, design and urban movement in Cambodia. His works on the Genealogy of Urban Form: Phnom Penh, Genealogy of Bassac and Phnom Penh Vision have been the subject of several exhibitions and presentations in Cambodia and selected venues in Southeast Asia and the U.S. organized by Sa Sa Bassac Gallery in Phnom Penh, Art Stage Singapore, H Gallery in Bangkok in Thailand, PARSONS the New School for Design in New York City, and Taipei Biennale 2016 in Taiwan.
Ko Latt (b.1987) is a young multimedia and performance art based artist who currently works and lived in Yangon Myanmar. He started learning his former art education in Newzero Art Space (2009), carried on working as a volunteer and organizer in several art projects conducted by Newzero Art Space. In 2003, He graduated Master of fine art from University of Zurich, Switzerland. From then on, His works were showing not only in Yangon but also in Gwangju (South Korea), Jakarta Biennial (2015), Queer Film Festival in Philippines, Lyon (France), Germany, Japan, Sweden, Stockholm and Thailand. He is also an activist for art and human right.
Aung Myat Htay (b.1973, Mandalay) certificated from the Fine Art school in Mandalay, 1993 and graduated in BFA at the University of Art & Culture, Yangon, 1998. Going beyond the traditional means of expression, he explores the potential of freedom of expression found in contemporary art. He does so by expressing social messages with work that combines contemporary and traditional art. He is deeply involved in the artistic community of Myanmar, where he shares the role of curator and writer since 2008. He has presented work in several regions of Asia including Japan, Thailand, India, Indonesia, Hong Kong and US. In 2014 he received six-month grant from Asian Cultural Council (ACC) for New York Residency and research contemporary art in the US. In 2015 he co-founded SOCA (School of Contemporary Art), an alternative art learning community to support the new generation of art. The group also aims to reshaping and shaking in traditional limitations on art & culture. Recently he co-curated the public art project for the Yangon Art & Heritage Festival My Yangon My Home (Yangon). Now he based in Yangon and currently working as a freelance artist & curator, and writer.

ADOBO MONOLOGUE is a short performance about a boy and his relationship with his father, which he narrates to the audience while cooking his specialty - chicken adobo. Originally staged at the PETA Theater Center, this educational theater piece has toured different communities for the positive discipline advocacy of the Philippine Educational Theater Association – PETA ARTS Zone Project, an advocacy campaign for positive discipline and Save the Children.

Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) (f. 1967, Philippines) In its early years, the company developed a People’s Theater dedicated to social change and empowerment, particularly of marginalized communities. PETA introduced plays written and performed in Filipino. Prior to transferring to its new performance venue in 2005, most of PETA’s plays were performed at the Dulaang Rajah Sulayman, an open-air theater in Intramuros, Manila designed by Leandro Locsin. It has produced a significant number of plays since its founding in the late 1960s and is committed to artistic development, education in theater and the arts, and development through its strong outreach component.
