Exhibition, Hall, 5th floor, BACC
Join us for a workshop with new media artist, Scott Kildall, who will lead an investigation of Bangkok’s rivers and canals. The group will examine environmental pollution due to industrialization. Scott will help participants in collecting and mapping data and show them how to turn data into sculptures. The goal is to stimulate a conversation around the effects of rapid development and industrialization. The participants will learn about data-mapping, audio and physical construction, and problem-solving.
Participants are expected to attend 20 hours of workshop activity and 40 hours of project development from June 3 - 22. The workshop schedule is Saturdays and Sundays, June 3 - 4 and 10 - 11 with optional activities on June 6 - 8. Projects will be developed base on participants’ availability from June 12 - 22.
Free admission. Pre-registration for the workshop via online form is required.
Pre-registration is open until May 19, 2017.
